I got a phone call this morning from my daughter who was on her way back to Tucson from a meeting in New York, she was at the Atlanta airport. Nothing like the three of us being in Atlanta at the same time and not being able to see each other!

Her flight left before we are due at the airport and didn't have a long enough lay over to make it reasonable for us to get to the airport to say hi, lucky kid! But, she did tell me that the weather here is supposed to be stormy again this afternoon. Now, it will be a bummer if we don't get out today! Hopefully the bad weather will wait until we are in the air and out of the area!

It also looks like she will be flying into some nasty weather in Tucson or at least in southeastern AZ, maybe it won't be in Tucson and she will have a smooth flight home, sure hope so.

The storm we sat out in Cinncinati yesterday did some damage to the community. Trees down and lots of rain in just a few minutes, guess we were lucky we got out at all!

I'll tell you what, I fly often, I have been to a number of airports, run into some rather strange situations but NEVER has an airport freaked me out the way the Atlanta airport does! I try desperately to avoid it and when it is impossible (or just not worth spending more hours at another airport to avoid Atlanta) then something always pops up to make me wonder why the airport munchkins don't like me!

This time, I booked our tickets on Delta because the other airlines had such long lay overs at any of the other airports and this was just an hour and a half in Cinncinati and and hour and a half in Atlanta. Now, what could possibly mess that up? Guess what! A storm hit Cinncinati when we were on the runway ready to leave which meant we couldn't depart on time, had to wait for the storm to pass. That, of course, made us miss our connection in Atlanta to Ecuador.

So, here we are in Atlanta for the night. I tried to find the hotel listings near the baggage claim while my husband stood in line at Delta ticketing to get our tickets changed to tomorrow. I gave up, the directions to baggage claim were not clear, I walked many miles and finally said screw it, I'll go back to Greg and have him help me with that. Of course, the helpless female is hardly a role I treasure, but sometimes a gal has to admit that she needs to go to her husband and admit failure…this was one of those time.

So, we got our tickets changed, called Ramada 800 number to book a room for the night, figuring it couldn't be all that bad. We used to be a Ramada and were proud of the name, of course that was back in the days when Steve Belmonte was the President and the chain actually had pride and dignity. We dropped the Ramada franchise at the first opportunity and were glad we did! Sure isn't the same now!! The chain is filled with less than wonderful properties, the prime example of that is the hotel we booked in Atlanta. To say it is a POS is being positive.

So, we walked across the street to the Best Western and asked if they had rooms available and internet, they did. It didn't stink and the rooms are nicer! The Ramada actually cancelled our reservation and the front desk gal said she "understood." How awful would that be? Work at a hotel and know it's crappy and have to let people walk out the door with the knowledge that the staff of the hotel even thinks it's awful!

There was a definate stink in the lobby, followed by the smell of something even stronger in the room and no internet. That follows the fact that we spent over an hour and a half waiting for the Ramada van to pick us up at the airport. Three calls to the hotel resulted in our being told to look for the Hyatt name on the van along with the Ramada name. Well, guess what, the Ramada name is not on the van at all! Now we know why!

Anyway, welcome to the Atlanta airport and all it's glory. Geez, it really dislikes me for some reason! Can't wait for tomorrow to be off to our new and exciting adventure in Ecuador. It should be wonderful!

I just read the information on http://www.drinkyourveggies.com which was posted on payperpost and was blown away with how simple it is to use and how healthy it is! Now, I love my veggies, I fix them with nearly every meal, but this offers the opportunity to have them even when you are at work. You can mix the veggies with water and drink my daily veggies it just like you do V-8 or other juice.

The difference is these are filled with salt or any other things that are bad for you. This is an organic food alternative to the canned or frozen vegetables we usually eat. When you are on the go and want something healthy or you are camping and still want your daily vegetables this product should suit your needs very well.

Daily dietary supplement of veggies can be eaten without a lot of mess, without the need for a stove and pan and you can drink it instead of eating them with a fork! Not only that but you can add them to the foods that you make at home and have the benefit of healthy eating enhanced with the addition of organic vegetables!http://tinyurl.com/2doljb

What in the world is that? Well, it's the radio show that my friend Stephen and I are going to be doing on a Des Moines radio station as soon as there is a slot open. It's sports, entertainment, business and politics from the 50's - 80's. We will be doing live interviews with those that made the news in those years, whether it was with music or anything else.

We did our first recording, turned it in to the station and was told that they liked it and would pick it up as soon as they found a time slot for it. Now, that could take a while since most of the shows that are on aren't going to be thrilled to be usurped by any other show, but it will happen and it will be a blast.

Our sound man is just fabulous, he creates wonderful background music to go to commercials, the beginning of the show and the end. He makes it fun for us and certainly for the listeners.

We got our caricature yesterday. The guy that we had do the work (Dave Schwan) did a super job. I'll add a copy of it when I figure out how…time to ask my personal guru to help!

When the show gets a time slot I'll let everyone know, then if you are in the mood you can listen and enjoy stepping back in time!

Did you know that you do not have to be a resident of a state to have a corporaton registered in that state? Many companies file their corporate papers in states other than where they live due to the benefits for corporate taxes granted by certain states vs their own state. The opportunity to check out the cost of filing and the procedure necessary is available at Wyoming inc This company will file in any of the 50 states for you and shows you the difference in cost they charge vs some of the other online filing companies.

If you want to protect your personal assets from debts of the company you really need to file a corporation. Of course you still have to file your taxes, follow the law but you may as well get the best deal possible for your corporate taxesWhether you are planning to file for an LLC, Corporation, S-Corp, S-corp., etc. this company will give you information on each type and enable you to make a more knowledgeable decision regarding the type of corporation you want to file.

Give them a look, read what they have to say and perhaps they will be the answer to the questions you have been struggeling with, at a decent cost too!

Good luck with your company, it's a challenge and a joy to have a business of your own. It may be the beginning of another dynasty….you could be another Donald Trump!

Have you ever had to step back, look at your work environment and think "Oh my gosh, it's no wonder I am not getting things done! I can't find anything in this mess!" That occured around here, our office was a disaster with cords running everywhere, stacks of paper, desks covered with "projects" and file boxes all over! Such is the result of moving from our old office to the new one!

Well, today and Sunday were the days to get things cleaned up. I went to work on my space on Sunday, shredding unnecessary papers, filing others, organizing the credenza and moving the clutter off my desk either to the shredder or files. Such a suprise, the top of my desk is actually wood and brown!!

Today my husband dug into his area….WOW…he can now move without running into paper or boxes. The dumpster is full and ready for pick up tomorrow.

The cords that were running all over the floor are now where they should be, no more tripping as you walk through. He did such a good job!

It will be a pleasure to come back to the office after our break to Ecuador. We will actually be able to find things, and get right to work. Wonder of Wonders!

When you are a reader like I am one of your favorite stores has to be Barnes and Noble. Not only do they have the brick and mortar store but the web site too. You should never be without reading material when you know about this store! Barnes and Noble coupons help you keep the cost of your reading down, it's a great to have these available online. Be sure to check them out!

We are members of their club but I just saw this wonderful site listed in the website promo codes that shows the coupons available for Barnes and Nobel even if you aren't a member! You can go to and get the latest Harry Potter book at a discount with the coupon offered there. I know my grandkids will be buying the book so I am sending them the information on the coupon…why not save some money when you can?

There are a number of other coupons available at this site, it's certainly worth checking out to see if there is anything you are interested in buying and getting a discount on, why pay full price when you don't have to?

Have a great day reading, choose wisley and enjoy the experience!

Good grief! I finally got the hotel booked for our trip to Quito, there were so many different styles from full fledge hotels to the quaint hostels that offer nearly everything you could want without the crowds of people. I've read so many web pages regarding the different hotels I feel like they all are running together. I finally just said shoot, go for it and booked one!

Of course it had to offer airport transporation since we don't have an idea of how the city is laid out and don't know if you can communicate with the taxi driver or not since we have only one language and it isn't Spanish! Should make for an interesting trip, but I figure if my husband can get around in China speaking only English we should be able to get around Ecuador!

With our desire to pick up some words to make the trip easier we'll see if it works….probably not. Will have to take some Spanish lessons if we decide this area of the world is one that interests us enough to want to do some business with local vendors. That's part of what this trip is about, checking out the products and quality…always working…well…almost always working!

Blogging is something new to me as is the payperpost website. I decided that as long as I was blogging I might as well get paid for some of the content. Reading over the information on blog marketing and reading some of the other bloggers comments made it easy to decide to give it a try.

The subjects they suggest and pay for are some of those that I write about anyway. Looking over the sites of some of the other bloggers made me realize that there are a great deal of different opinions out there and most are interesting to read.

So, when it came time to see what was available and the first one was about the payperpost site ads on blogs seemed to be a logical option to try. It has proven to be a good site with interesting opportunities to write about.

It will be interesting to get to know some of the other posters and hear their thoughts and evaluation of the site. So, it's off to blogger land with payperpost!

The Spa we are staying at has not gotten back to us with the promised help in obtaining a hotel in Quito, much less the reservations for the flight from Quito to Loja. That means I'm on the internet searching out which hotel has the best deal, transportation from the airport and breakfast. It has been educational, as well as frustrating! Should not have counted on the assistance from the Spa I guess.

Now, admittedly, a large portion of my problem is that I don't speak Spanish. The hotel information is in English so that isn't a problem, it's the airline that is a real challenge. I talked to my daughter tonight who said I should ask my neighbor to help, she speaks Spanish fluently. Think I may do that tomorrow. Nothing like cutting it close!

Some of the hotels I have looked at have so much charm, it's hard to pick one. The rates are drastically lower than those in the USA, which is sweet for us!

We may get to Quito and never get out to the Spa if I can't get the airline under control….some of the joy of international travel…I wouldn't miss it for the world!
