Once again the internet makes it possible to buy what you want, regardless of where the storefront is located. Terry's Curtain Fabrics is located in the UK but it has the online ability to ship anywhere in the world. The fabrics that are available are so varied that you should be able to find anything you need (or desire) and have the curtains custom made for your home with absolutely beautiful curtain fabric specifically choosen by you.
On the site is a shipping calculator to help with figuring what the cost of shipping to your location would be. There is also a calculator to help you determine the size of curtains you will need, it will help you with the measurements of your window to allow for lovely hanging curtains that fit perfectly.
There was just a tornado warning issued for Mt. Pleasant. It's kind of a scary thought since we just drove through the Old Thresher grounds and it is approximately 1/3 filled with campers that have come in for Old Thresher Reunion which starts next Wednesday. It has to be rather frightening to be out there, on the great flat land, in a camper.
The thunder is rolling, the lightening is flashing but it isn't raining hard yet…we've had enough for awhile, it has rained nearly every day for the past week. The weatherman said it was supposed to be nice this weekend, that would be a nice change.
We took a drive to the Missouri border today, which is only 40 miles from here. On the way back I was amazed that I had never noticed the "forest" that runs for miles (east and west) by the Keokuk exit. Perhaps it was because it was so beautiful that I paid attention today, or because I wasn't driving, but regardless, it was stunning.
I have told Greg for years that I think Iowa is a beautiful state, particularly in the area we live in, but today just reconfirmed it for me. Now, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't move, but if we do it will have to be someplace beautiful (Vilcabamba?) to compete with where we are right now.
Papa is going to be going to stay with our grandkids for a couple of weeks in September while their mom and dad are in Portugal. Usually we would both be going, but since we will have just opened the office and training will be going on it will be just Papa. The kids don't know how lucky they are…he's a lot better "touch" for things than Grandma is!

Texty is a new content management system to simplify the changes you want to make on your web page. It is as simple as type, copy, click and paste. Doesn't get much easier than that. If you are constantly opening your web page for simple changes, then this is a site you may want to check out and try.
If you find it easy to use, let others know. If you find it difficult to use, let the developer know.
We have begun the process of getting things for the office, the computers are ordered, the printer is ordered, the cubicles are being figured by Welter's and so it has begun.
We will be in the office on the 31st to get the phone lines installed, perhaps the lines run to the locations we want them too, it will depend if we have the information from Welter's as to placement.
So it has begun!
If you don't take care of your face you will look years older than you may be in just a short time! No one wants to have people think they are 10 years older than they really are. Yet, if you scrub your face with a harsh soap and a rough rag you will tear your skin causing it to heal over with a rough appearance, making you look years older than you are!
Take the Arouge Gentle Foaming Face Wash, moisten your skin and gently apply the foam with your fingers to clean…I said gently! Now rinse it off and pat (don't rub) your face dry. Your face will feel clean, you will be radiant and fresh looking.
For those with dry skin you will want to use this all the time, regular soap strips the necessary oils from your skin which dries your face out even more. If you have sensitive skin the gentle cleaning will not cause your skin to become sore and red.
Try the product, you will be pleased with the results.
There are lots and lots of items that you can sell on eBay but I sell primarily glassware. I am not an expert on glassware, not sure that there are a great many people that would be considered experts in all areas of glassware. There are so many different makers, styles and types that to be an expert in all would be nearly impossible.
I just know what I like and what I think others would enjoy. That's what I buy at auctions and list on eBay.
When you are looking for nice items to buy to list you have to be selective in not only which sales you go to, how much you pay but you have to know your competition. Since this are has a lot of auctions, there is almost always a chance to get something nice for a reasonable price. That is, unless every dealer in the area is there, then you probably aren't going to pick anything up for the amount you can afford to pay if you are going to list it.
EBay started out as a place where almost anyone could afford to list almost anything and get it sold. It didn't cost a great deal to list, the choices were varied from the good to the just down right awful. But, it was fun and got a great number of people involved in both buying and selling. Now the cost of listing an item and having a picture for buyers to see has gotten high enough so the smaller items just cost too much to list. For instance, if you are planning to go to an auction to buy items to list, you better keep in mind that it will cost you a minimum of $1.00 to sell it. If it's not going to bring enough money to justify the purchase I suggest that you leave it for someone else. You don't want to work for nothing, and eBay is work.
The positive thing about going to the auctions is that you see some beautiful glassware, some you buy and some you watch go to someone else, but you learn, you continue to learn. It's fun, it MIGHT make you some money and you will make new friends. Sounds like a good way to spend a day to me.
My Buick now has well over 200,000 miles on it and is still running like a top. It has had regular maintenance, oil changes, new battery (just the other day) and of course the tires. But for major repairs there just haven't been that many.
I had to have the spring replaced on the front left a while ago, but since my mechanic is a genius and knows how to do things well and inexpensively, that didn't cost me a fortune either.
The gas gauge doesn't read correctly, but we just watch the mileage and know when we need to fill up. It does register when it's down to the lowest point but we don't let it get that low, don't want to walk in the
This is a 2000 LeSabre, the kind of car that Buick, in it's wisdom, decided not to make anymore. Of course not, it only gets 25 to 26 miles per gallon, runs well, is a wonderful ride and still looks good so of course they don't want to make it anymore!
When it comes time to get a new car, which I hope is a long time from now, perhaps we will look at another Buick, but we'll see. Might be something out there with just as good a ride, front wheel drive and good mileage that we will have to consider.
