I get the biggest kick out of Papa and his referring to Molly as Miss Molly. He talked about her again last night as he brought out some fizzy things for the bathtub and said he had forgotten he had them, but that Miss Molly had taken a couple of baths, at her asking, because she wanted to have them in the tub. He said they didn't stain the tub and Miss Molly came out just squeeky clean so I guess they are a neat thing to have around!
Then he was talking about Jake and how being around his friend John for a couple of days had made him think about Jake. He said that John would have given Jake a run for his money on chatter. He wasn't sure that even Jake could have gotten a word in edgewise. How funny.
John was wonderful to help Greg with our house repairs. He is truly a wonderful friend to Greg. Now, if we can just keep him happy with his latest love life all would be sweet. He really likes his new girlfriend. We had the privilege of meeting her a couple of weeks ago. They seem to truly enjoy each other, which is neat to see.
Anyway, I think that Miss Molly has won the heart of Papa, that's so sweet!
If you are looking for bath and body packaging items and don't know where to go then you should check out this site. They have a wide variety of products that will enable you to make your own soap, bath items and body supplies.
With my friend, Ingrid, making soap and my kids having done it in the past I am sure that they would be pleased to know there is someplace they can get quality items at reasonable prices. If you have to buy your supplies at retail the end product costs so much that it is hard to justify making it for anything other than gifts or your own use. If you are trying to sell it at flea markets or vendors booths at a local celebration the price you need to charge is so high that most people will pass on the purchase.
Let's do something different, let's go to an internet conference. Now that sounds like a boring, super boring, time, but it will totally depend on the speakers. Some times they are really good and you learn a bunch. Then there are times when they are so busy trying to impress you with how wonderful they are they forget that they are supposed to be teaching you something and you really are wasting your time.
From what I have read and what Greg has told me this one should be a quality experience. We should learn a bunch. Now the key to my going to these is that I need to remember what they are teaching, cause, usually, 10 minutes after I leave the session I can't remember anything they said. Don't think it's a passion of mine although it is the way we make our living new. Heck of a deal!
My father had prostate cancer. Although the treatment (surgery and radiation and chemo) killed the cancer cells it also took away the ability for an erection. This was more devastating for a man than a woman would even think about. When my father discussed it with me, there was true sadness in his voice and frustration in the reality.
If ablatherm or HIFU which stands for high intensity focused ultrasound blast away prostate cancer through sound waves actually works and leaves the patient with the ability for normal sexual activity then this is truly a wonderful thing. In reading the testimonials I did not see anything that addressed this issue, but perhaps I didn't read enough of them.
The office is actually beginning to hum, Terry has some sales that he has closed and has more that should close in the next week or two. He's so excited! Dana has finished her 2nd day and really likes what she is doing. She is getting far smoother on the phone and understanding the site so it's much easier to talk to the clients about what we have to offer. She will get some stuff going too in the next couple of weeks, I am sure.
We interviewed a gal today that may, or may not, come to work for us. She seemed just a tad off, not in a bad way, but something just didn't fit the norm. After discussing it when she left we determined that she probably lives at a women's shelter, the address she gave is a church that runs 4 or 5 shelters for women and some of the comments that she made indicate that she has had issues in the past. I checked her references and the one I could get a hold of said that she is an outstanding worker but that since they couldn't get in touch with her due to the phone number she left not always being answered they couldn't use her as much as they would like. If she had a solid phone number they would put her to work full time. Interesting. We'll see what the other reference says tomorrow and if she actually wants to work here. If she does, then there is something that tells me to give her a chance, that offering a helping hand to someone that is coming from a shelter environment is the right thing to do, if she can do the job and she believes she can. We'll see.

There is a new trend in mortgage lending. It is the financing of less than stellar credit rating buyers. Now, that doesn't mean it is for someone that has not paid any bills, or is truly a credit risk. It is focused on those that, for one reason or another, had financial difficulty due to student loans, being a single female or other major issue that, for awhile, impacted their ability to get a home loan.
Bad Credit Mortgagesis something that companies are looking at for new businesss. Just because you don't have great credit doesn't mean that you can't get a mortgage; it means that you may pay a little more on the interest level, but you will be able, most likely, to get a loan at a reasonable rate. The competition for the home loan market has seen that although there may have been problems with your credit it is not true that all people with something on their history are unable or unwilling to pay their mortgage payment so the brokers are more willing to take a risk and give loans to those that used to be automatically denied.
Look over the site and see if you qualify for a loan from them. It may be a way to get you into your own new home.

If we were planning to stay in MP then I would voice the concerns, but since we aren't planning to be here long term, I don't think it's my place to cause a stir and then not be here to follow through with the necessary actions to get changes made. I don't want to lead the group, I don't have time, I'm not here enough so I'll either pass on going or keep my mouth shut. Probably should pass on going, it might be hard to not comment.
I have never been to a Park West Art Gallery on land but I have been to their auctions on the seas and it is wonderful. The art they display is quality, the prices reasonable and you can actually get them to frame the pieces before they ship them to your home.
We purchased three pieces of art while we were cruising one was the Pink Panther golfing. This one was for the golf suite in our hotel and when we sold the hotel I brought it home, it was just too cool to leave for someone else to have when they didn't golf or appreciate it like we do.
One is a computer generated piece of a baby grand piano and a rather wild man in a tux playing it. This fits into our home since we have a baby grand in our living room. This piece is so different from most of the art that we had seen it really captured our eye. It now hangs in the living room of our home and gets commented on regularly.
The last piece is an art deco piece from a Jewish artist that has wonderful bold colors and flowing lines. We still haven't framed this one, it really doesn't go in our current home due to the style but it will when we move to a different house, someday! We thought about taking it to the office but just can't make myself do that, I want it at home.
The auctions are well managed, the knowledgeable staff are most willing to help you with information on the works and the selection is varied.
Maybe sometime in the future we will have the opportunity to go to a gallery and see what else they have available. It's wonderful to see such quality art by such a wide array of artists all in one place at reasonable prices.
