When you need a new  tactical belt be sure to go the Police Gear to get the best quality at a reasonable price.  It will hold your holster, not fold over on you, will give you support and looks good to boot.

The police need lots of items to do their job and the place to get it is at Police Gear.  Not only is the price fair but the variety of items is awesome!

We are getting closer to being all packed, should have it wrapped up tomorrow.  For someone that doesn't like a lot of "stuff" we sure as the world have it!!  Of course, there are boxes of china and crystal, sewing things and personal things like brushes, toothpaste and all that kind of stuff but then the huge number of boxes of office supplies, paper, computer stuff, and all that kind of stuff.  So, guess it's not all "stuff" but sure are a lot of boxes!  We packed them in the priority mail boxes so that makes it seem like there are a lot more, but they are a size that I can carry without any problem so it works out well.

We went to the movie Narnia tonight, I really enjoyed it, the Prof thought it was ok.

We are going to have dinner with the Prof's parents Monday night, we will enjoy that a bunch (at least I will LOL).

It only got to 59 here today but tomorrow is supposed to be 80!  What a contrast.  Had to turn the heat up when we got home, it was really bone chilling cold in here.  I've told the gas company to take a final reading the 20th of June since we won't be back to do any cooking or showering or anything after the auction so so sense in having that bill come in.  The power bill should be really low since there won't be anyone here but didn't want to turn that off since realtors are showing the house.

There has been some action on the house, shown at least twice this week from the realtor cards on the table when we got home.  Wish us luck.

I took some children's books over to the neighbors for their little girls. They are the books that have the CD’s that are in Spanish and the books in English.  They are neat but we don’t need them so no reason to keep them, pack them and all that when the kids will truly enjoy them. I got a wonderful hug from "Grandma" as a thank you :)

Ok, so now I know why we live in Iowa, it's for days like yesterday and today.  The sky is clear, the temperatures about perfect and things are getting done at the office, what a delight.

Now that we don't have the negative influence in the office the attitude, the work ethics, the determination and drive and desire are really stepping up.  It's great to watch the energy and happy people!  And yes, I think the weather has a lot to do with that too.  How can you not think God is in His heaven when there are days like today.

Payperpost actually had something when I checked this morning so whahoo, hehe, hadn't even checked for ages since there hadn't been anything for awhile, got too busy building to take the time to post here or there, but, being the money hound I am, I checked this morning and there it was.  Hope the youngest in our family got it too, it was not huge but a 6.50 is better than a 5!!

Things to do in Las Vegascan set up a tour for you that will give you the opportunity to see things that you would miss if you were on your own.  Now,  not being a Las Vegas fan I  wanted to write about beautiful San Francisco.

When we were in San Francisco we took a tour of Alcatraz and realized just how miserable a place like that would be to spend you years!  The cells are tiny, the privacy is not existent, I'm sure the food was less than 4 star and the isolation complete from the mainland.  I can't imagine what it was like for the families that wanted to visit the inmates.  Now, we know that most of those that were incarcerated at Alcatraz were less than exemplary and so thinking about visitors is rather difficult, but they certainly had family and associates that would come, probably.

Pulling up to the island didn’t prepare us for the long walk up to the prison, or for the confined feeling that overwhelms you as you enter the prison itself.  It was easy to see how the violence of the lifestyle could be prevalent and how fights would break out, how punishment would need to be harsh to keep things under control and how glad a prisoner would be to get released from the island.  Although the view of San Francisco is wonderful when the fog isn’t surrounding the prison, the view would only accentuate the feeling of isolation.  It’s beautiful, but they couldn’t get there and although many tried the guide told us that only two had actually escaped and they doubt, understandably, that they made it across the bay to the city.  The waters are rough, cold and it’s a long swim.

If you are considering a tour you may want to sign up for http://www.trustedtours.com/newsletter.aspx to find all the things there are to do and see that they are promoting.

I coundln't help but thing of Jolene when I was packing my cloths, she told me years ago that I had WAY too many cloths, kinda have to agree with her today!

We have most things packed, not going to be able to move them all today, but we will get some of it moved and the rest will stay here until next weekend or until after the sale.  It has been interesting to see what all has been stashed in all these years. Although, there aren't a lot of things that need to be tossed, some to go to the Fellowship Cup, but not nearly as much as we thought would have to be discarded.  (Fellowship Cup gets cloths).

We will be heading home soon, got to load what we can, wait for the dishwasher to finish and make sure the cloths are packed that I'm taking and the Professor is taking.  The rest will wait.

Went to MO today and got cigs.  Nice break!
