Although most of us have had someone "burn" us at one point of time or another the way we react to that and the "revenge" we take certainly don’t need to be having them literally disappear due to a haircut.  There are other ways to end a miserable relationship with a jerk, whether it is a "friend" or relative.  For me, they just cease to exist.  I don’t talk to or about them, they go into oblivion in my world.  If they seek help, "sorry, never heard of you," if they contact me to visit or share experiences, "sorry, never heard of you, why are you calling here?"  Why waste your time and energy in giving them any brain space.  Once they have hurt you, why would you allow them the opportunity to do it again?

In the movie it appears that the revenge is sweet for the actor.  Bloody, final and great cinematography.
