The fires in California are a reminder to me of the fires in AZ a few years ago that affected my kids.  It was scary to know that everything they have worked so hard to build could be wiped away in just a few hours.  Fortunately the fire was stopped before it got to their house, but they still had to evacuate, it was that close.

The destruction that was left in the wake of the fire was unbelievable.  When you drive through the area that was burned you can still see the charred trees and now the new growth that is replacing what was burned.

California has had more homes lost, due to the density of the population differences between the area in California and the population in AZ. 

If it is arson in California, as it was in AZ, you have to wonder what mental glitch makes a person want to destroy so much.  Such a shame.
