Ok, so we had the schedule for the weekend all figured out, not a problem.  Then last night we found out that the date that we had set for going to the races with our friend and his girlfriend is a day earlier than we planned.  That means that Friday is in DM and it will be late when we get done so I told Greg that I am not going to make it to the board meeting at Camp Quaker Heights.  Just can't see getting home at 2 and leaving again at 6.  Not going to happen.  So, if they get all kinds of mad, so be it.  I'm only human….yes I am.

Update on the races last night, Greg won 8 out of 10 bets.  Now that is amazing.  Even at 2 a bet it was fun to see him win.  One race he actually made 14.40 LOL.  One one race he lost (as did John and I) we had talked about taking the horses we didn't bet on (between us there were just 3) and betting the Trificta, didn't, but thought about it and laughed about it.  Well, had we done it it would have paid out $547.27.  Oh well, it was fun laughing about it anyway.  John bets on multiple horses, Greg and I bet on one.  I guess you could say we aren't hooked on the gambling, but do enjoy the fun of being there and watching the races.

We are looking forward to meeting Bert, she is important to John so therefore important to us.  It appears that they have finally gotten some of the rough points worked out for them and are moving forward with their "friendship."  We hope it works out well for both of them.
