Yesterday we went to Des Moines and rented an office space (just exactly the one I hoped we could get) for occupancy Sept. 3.  There is an attorney in there now that will be moving out the 24th and then the referb by the owner begins but will be ready for us the 3rd.

Then it was off to Glidden to allow Greg to help his dad fix his computer and for us to see their new kitchen and bedroom.  They are stunning, what a wonderful job they did!  I love the pull out cabinets, it allows for so much more storage and actual availability of the things in the back that always get forgotten.

Today we got the phone service ordered for the office, the utilities ordered and a slug of paperwork done.

Followed up by the call from our daughter that informed us that the franchise they hoped to sell in Portugal went through.  What a fabulous opportunity for them!  Grandma and Grandpa (or at least one of us) will be going to take care of the kids while their folks take a trip to Portugal to train the new franchisees.  Who will go will depend on the situation at the office.

I asked Greg tonight if we had gotten any rest while we were in Ecuador, sure didn't seem like it.  We were busy almost all the time.  He said that yes, we had a couple of afternoons that were just kick back time, I guess that's true…then why am I so pooped LOL??

Our schedule is filling up again, and we hadn't really planned on it but it's great.  The Ambassador and his wife from Kenya will be our houseguests on the 14th as part of the tour of Senator Grassley.  We have hosted before and truly enjoyed it but this will be so special.  Greg has always felt that Kenya was "home" so having them here will be just wonderful.

Now it's time to get back to www.taguanutearrings.com and get some more products listed and more linking done, that is after I check ebay and payperpost.  Geez, busy, busy.

Cyn called from Buffalo, NY.  She arrived safely and will have a super busy schedule with a flight back to home tomorrow.  At least Drew is home to take care of the cats tonight, with his new job he's home on Wed. nights.
