My husband and I were eating lunch at a local restaurant a while ago when I bit down on something that was really hard.  "What the heck" I said, took the "hard thing" out of my mouth and oh my gosh, it was my front cap!  Now, the cap had been in place for nearly 30 years so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, but bet your bootie I was!

Here I sat with my cap in my hand and afraid to open my mouth for fear that someone would see the gapping hole in my mouth!  I would look like this old geezer I used to know that was missing all but a couple of his teeth…I just knew it!! 

I jumped on the phone and called my dentist and told him my emergency.  He was busy for the next couple of hours and would get me in when he could.  Oh my goodness, that meant that I was going to run around like this for at least 2 hours, who would see me?  Where could I hide?  What did my husband think?  It was truly awful.  Had there been a product like Dentemp OS available I would have used it in a minute!  I could have gone into the restroom, washed off the cap, left the cap moist, made sure the cap would slide back on where it belonged and then applied a small layer of the product in the cap and put it back on, just bit down to set the cap and have a temporary repair until I got to the dentist.  It would have been so quick with Dentemp OS to save myself so much worry!  It would have been so much better than being so embarassed and me having to keep my mouth shut!  That is not easy for me, let me tell you!  The temporary dental repair would have saved me so much trouble, it would have been a blessing!
