This is the weekend that I have to be at church camp for a meeting on Saturday morning (some are going over Friday night and spending the night at camp).  I am driving over in the morning, which means I will be on the road by 6 to get there for the 9 am meeting.  Then lunch and I am back on the road.

We are meeting a friend of ours and his girlfriend Saturday afternoon for the harness racing at Prairie Meadows.  Since they are fun with someone else and boring as watching an infection heal when you are there  by yourself we should have a good time Saturday night.

Since we have been there and our friend never has, we called him today to see if he wanted to go tonight to get familiar with how things run so he can be an "expert" for his girlfriend on Saturday night.  He was all about that!  He doesn't want to look like a rookie at the races, even though he will be but he should know how to talk the talk some anyway.
