Since 1989 we have had the same insurance agent.  He makes sure he shops the rates since he deals with a number of different companies.  Whenever there has been a need for insurance to pay we have had excellent service and quick payment.

So when you are searching for an agent you may want to find one that can service all your needs from car insurance to home insurance.  Car insurance is mandatory in most places now, which is a good thing. Just make sure that you compare car insurance policies to get the best deal at the best rate.  Home insurance is just smart to have.  What if you are robbed or if there is a fire or flood or tornado and you don't have home insurance?  You lose everything you have and have no way to replace it.  Home insurance is a wise investment, hopefully you will never need to use it, but if you do, then you will be awfully glad you paid the premium!
