The Differences

The differences between MP and DM are staggering, and yet each has it's charm.  We love the hustle and bustle of DM, there is always something going on or something to see.  We get together with friends and visit or go to an auction or something while in MP it's home, the cat, quiet and rest.

I have said since we moved to MP that the town has its good points, it is safe, easy to get around, people are distantly friendly (if you aren't part of the established clique it's probably going to be hard to socialize unless you institute it and then never expect a return invitation.  It's not that they don't want to come to a party at your house, they just don't have any at theirs.  It's strange, but it's MP.

Trying to decide where to live is difficult, going home on Thursday nights is welcome, not so much the town but the house.  We love our house and of course Mercy is there (although she could move).  At the same time, until we decide where we really want to be, IA or AZ or elsewhere the way it is will just have to work.

Gas prices were down in DM this past week to $2.45 a gallon, this morning they are back up to $2.54.  Still a lot less than it was a couple of weeks ago.  In MP it never dropped below $2.89…go figure.

Now it's time to get on the phone and see if I can close a couple of deals.  Would be nice.
