It's really hard to watch your babies grow up, it seems like they should continue to come to you for advice, confirmation of decisions or to fix a boo boo.  Well, our oldest granddaughter is growing up.  She went to Homecoming and to the dance with a date last night.  How exciting is that?  She even bought a new dress that she wanted, with her own money, to make a good impression. 

We wish we could have seen her, she's so beautiful even in blue jeans that seeing her all dressed up for a special event would be eye popping I am sure!

It's hard to watch her grow up, it seems like she should be the little girls that was missing her front teeth and having chocolate all over her face when getting off the plane to visit.  But, just like her beautiful mom, she's growing up and making decisions on her own.  Fortunately she has had a good set of parents that have given her a good sense of right and wrong so we are sure she will continue to make the right decisions and be the fabulous person we love and want to protect and snuggle forever!
